A few days ago I visited Le Château de Versailles, one of my favourite places in the world. I’ve been here once before on a school trip about three years ago. This time, instead of the Summer/Autumn foliage of September, the trees were mostly bare and there were hardly any flowers blooming. But it was still a beautiful day and the gardens looked gorgeous.
I realised I have quite a few photos I want to share so I’m going to split them up into two different blog posts. This one will be focused more on the buildings and the interiors, and the next one will be dedicated to the gardens 🙂
The chapel in the main palace.
The staircase in Le Petit Trianon.
The music room/drawing room in Le Petit Trianon.
The bedroom (belonging to Madame du Barry and later Marie Antoinette) in Le Petit Trianon.
