Versailles Part I

A few days ago I visited Le Chรขteau de Versailles, one of my favourite places in the world. I’ve been here once before on a school trip about three years ago. This time, instead of the Summer/Autumn foliage of September, the trees were mostly bare and there were hardly any flowers blooming. But it was still a beautiful day and the gardens looked gorgeous.

I realised I have quite a few photos I want to share so I’m going to split them up into two different blog posts. This one will be focused more on the buildings and the interiors, and the next one will be dedicated to the gardens ๐Ÿ™‚

The chapel in the main palace.

The staircase in Le Petit Trianon.

The music room/drawing room in Le Petit Trianon.

The bedroom (belonging to Madame du Barry and later Marie Antoinette) in Le Petit Trianon.

    1. Thank you so much! I just did a one-day class in photography and that’s how I learned manual mode. I would definitely recommend finding something like that if you are having trouble! Having said that, I still have a long way to go haha ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll have a look at your blog now xx

      1. I took my course in Brisbane from a company called Learn Photography ( but I don’t think they are in Sydney! You could call them and ask if they have any affiliates or recommendations for Sydney? They were very good and very helpful ๐Ÿ™‚
