Versailles Part II

Here is the second part of my photos from Versailles. These ones are focused on their beautiful gardens (my favourite part). The chΓ’teau itself is amazing and there is a lot of history, but it can get quite crowded (even in the middle of January it was hard to move about in the rooms). So it was nice to escape to the gardens where you can be almost totally alone – they cover around 800 ha.

At one end of Marie-Antoinette’s estate, they have a fully functioning farm with loads of animals. I couldn’t resist this shot of Mr Pig (he had just spotted his food arriving).
