Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney

We come to a totally different part of Australia now: Sydney, the country’s most populated city. I only spent three days there in July but I tried to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. These photos were taken almost as soon as we got off the plane, in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Our hotel (QT Sydney – would highly recommend) was in the CBD and close to all the main touristy spots so as soon as we dropped our bags we headed straight to Circular Quay and then on to the Gardens. It wasn’t the best weather so the shots of Sydney Opera House didn’t turn out great, although I’m quite pleased with the photos of the garden itself. The best weather of the three days was our last day, when we took a ferry to Watsons Bay and enjoyed spectacular views of the harbour. That’s for another time though!
