Sydney Harbour and Watsons Bay Part I

I’ve realised I have quite a few photos from our day trip to Watsons Bay and I think it deserves two parts, so the journey back through the harbour and some more photos of the opera house and the bridge will follow next week. This was definitely my favourite bit of my visit to Sydney. Even in mid winter the water was crystal clear blue and we picked such a lovely day that you didn’t even need a coat. To finish off we obviously had to try the tourist cliché of Watsons Bay – fish and chips at Doyles (the takeaway version, not the posh restaurant) and lunch on the pier.
