Noosa, Queensland

I can’t believe I’ve never done a blog post about Noosa before! It’s my favourite beach resort in Australia (although I probably share this preference with a good proportion of the general population). The combination of its proximity to a beautiful national park, the award winning restaurants and cafes serving fresh local produce and the excellent shopping on Hastings St makes it a must-see if you are ever in Queensland. Bearing in mind these shots were taken in mid-winter, we experienced sunny and 22 degree celsius conditions for the whole 3-4 days we spent there. Due to southern Queensland’s sub-tropical climate, Noosa is basically a year-round resort although it can get very busy in the height of summer. These photos were taken around the national park, from Little Cove along the coast through to Tea Tree Bay. I can’t wait to go back when I visit Australia again for Christmas!
