I thought I would try something a little bit different with my photography when I went hiking in the rainforests around Brisbane. If you look at my Instagram right now the theme is very much bright white and pastel colours and I think that colour scheme fits London really well, but when you have all the beautiful greenery of subtropical Queensland? Not so much… So for these photos I really lowered the exposure and also took my large aperture lens with me so I could achieve that dark tropical vibe I’ve seen on some travel blogs. I think they turned out really well! The first photos were taken in Springbrook National Park between Brisbane and the Gold Coast on stormy Christmas Day (my family does Christmas a little differently that’s for sure!). The bottom four were taken on sunnier days around Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious in west Brisbane. I hope you enjoy 🙂
