I’m so happy to be able to collaborate with the emerging designer Dream’s Code that I’ve dedicated a whole blog post to the beautiful bag they kindly gifted me. This brand was created by London College of Fashion graduate Youmeng Liu back in 2014 and she has been creating unique luxury accessories based out of her London studio ever since. Inspired by the embroidery and patterns of the ethnic Bai minority in her native southern Chinese province of Yunnan, Youmeng’s designs are created using the sewing techniques of their ancient culture. All the accessories are also made using environmentally sustainable vegetable tanned leather.
I received one of their new designs, the Eye-Shadow Shoulder Bag in white:
This piece was inspired by French blogger Garance Doré and I am in love with the minimal white design with the little pops of colour (like an eyeshadow palette!) along the top. I’ve been looking for a white bag for summer for ages and this is just perfect.
If you’d like to purchase one of these beautiful pieces I have a 10% off discount code for you: DCxLARAINLONDON
Here are some close up shots of the bag, which also comes in Black.
For its first outing I took my new bag to brunch at Dalloway Terrace (along with my obliging photographer boyfriend), for some delicious coffee and the best pancakes I’ve had in ages. Is anyone else obsessed with the cups and saucers at Dalloway? I need some for myself…
The aforementioned berry pancakes with lemon curd seemed to match the bag nicely 🙂
I’m also wearing a Missguided dress that’s a couple of years old now, but I’ve found something fairly similar in pink which I’ve linked below. My shoes were from ASOS last year but I found an espadrille version in an apricot colour. The sunglasses are Prada and I’ve found something similar linked below and the watch is from Circulr and the only one still in stock with a marble face is the one with a navy strap so I’ve linked that as well.
